The term health coach does some justice to Charles's work, though not entirely.Having never danced in my life and never been comfortable dancing, I was really skeptical when I joined Zumba sessions 3 years back. First month of Zumba sessions made me realize how bad my motor skills were. But even when I did most of the steps wrong, there was this instructor who always encouraged us with that positive smile and asked us to keep trying and push our limits. I always went back telling about my limitations and all aches/pains, which I had been facing due to a prolonged sedentary lifestyle. Charles always patiently listened and guided me through. He had always been encouraging and always motivated us to achieve our health goals. From being sick at least once a week, I started to feel healthy, active and more "alive". It's not just Zumba which helped, but an overall transformation of lifestyle and Charles guided us through with all his knowledge of each and every muscle in our body, his knowledge of diet, nutrition and what not. Though I was always awed by the grace with which Charles danced and his knowledge, I came to know later about him being a great dancer, an elite football coach, someone who converted all hurdles into opportunities and having had lot of achievements at this young age. Its been a great pride for us to be instructed by our Zumba Zealot Charles (as Indian express named him), who had been an epitome of patience and hard work. Its been 3.5 years of Zumba now and still on.. Thanks for all the positive energy, listening ear and the patient guidance all these years..

Meeting Charles has been a life changing experience for me…
I have been struggling with overweight and body image for the past 7 years. I tried various diets and some workouts. But no significant changes happened. I met Charles ~1.5 years ago and started experiencing Zumba with Charles. Then, things started changing around!
I could achieve remarkable change in fat loss and thereby my weight reduced from obesity to normal with greater than 10kg weight loss and significant inch loss. Experienced greater improvements from various health and fitness problems related to my leg and foot. Could reduce the frequency of migraine and mental stress. Charles is a phenomenal Zumba trainer and a health coach. The professionalism and vast knowledge he imparted in the health and fitness field are reaching us through the Zumba sessions and talks. He explains well how each move is acting on which body part/muscle groups. Even if the crowd is big, we get individual attention during his Zumba sessions. He always tries to correct the postures and wrong alignments, if necessary, and constantly encourages us to "push” a little harder to get the results we are striving for.

It's been almost 2 years I started attending Charles' zumba sessions. A proper coach is an ultimate factor in every one's fitness journey and I can say that I have a wonderful coach who is highly qualified and highly talented with a wide range of fitness knowledge. Under his proper guidance, within first 3-4 months itself, I went through a remarkable change as I wished for. Instead of suggesting to follow a particular diet plan, after going through my daily food routine, he suggested some changes that I can easily follow, which has made a magical impact on my body with his energetic zumba sessions. The energy that we get from his motivation and sessions with a happy smiling face will never let you down with your goal. I highly recommend everyone to attend Charles' sessions to experience the positive vibe that he spreading out.

slowly i started feeling good and my knee pain with which i was going through for about a decade startEd to vanish.
I'm 40+ and was overweight. I was introduced to Charles by a family friend of mine who had reduced weight tremendously. I joined there with the hope of losing weight very fast. I was not given any heavy workouts or a strict diet regime and was initially sad about it. Then slowly slowly i started feeling good and my knee pain with which i was going through for about a decade started to vanish. I could climb up the stairs without any pain or discomfort. "It was a great 1 year journey with the zumba team. Got to learn a lot about zumba from a fitness perspective. The precision on each movements and also the effects of doing a particular movement like stretching wrong. The main reason behind me decided to join the classes was to increase my stamina. And obviously to shred excess fat. I used to get panted very shortly which i think i have improved a lot after doing zumba. Yes of course and lost some kgs too. Apart from this serious note, yes i enjoy doing zumba. I do prefer this over the serious workouts at gyms. I do believe that it is a great way to stay in shape, and it's a lot of fun. apart from this i feel that you build the momentum very well and paced the steps slower as it becomes easy for us to catch up and then increasing the pace. Kudos to your patience and thoughtfulness as you always prepare us for the change in direction or set of moves."

"I did get into better shape, I almost do not diet. "ZUMBA SESSION HAS BECOME MY "HAPPY TIME" OF THE DAY NOW."
"Zumba session has become my 'HAPPY TIME' of the day now. I just forget about everything else and enjoy it. These days I wait for the clock to hit 4.45 pm, so that I can run to the session. :-P Dancing was never my thing. To be frank, I was too shy and conscious about my moves in the beginning and I always stood in the last row in my first season." Luckily it lasted only for a month. Not sure how, but from the next season, I am in the first row. :-) Zumba helped to increase my stamina a lot and shred some weight. I am able to keep up my energy for 2 hours. Charles's 'PUSH YOUR LIMITS' always comes to my mind when i get tired. It just pushes me to carry on. :) I tried to hit the gym but it stopped after 1 month. (no fun!!) And I used to go for swimming but that also stopped after few months. Now Zumba is lots of fun. I have many reasons to carry-on and none to quit. :P. I love the SBZ moves. I feel like I am fighting and I like it. Thanks for the guidance and the support, without that I would have never come this far.

"Its been 10 months since i have started doing zumba and i feel its one of the best things that happened to me in 2017.well fitness was one reason behind me joining zumba and second being a dance fitness routine made it more interesting as dancing has always remained my passion and i knew i would love it. From fitness perspective, i have lost few pounds and i feel so happy and content about that, and the best parti have managed to fit into lesser size dresses.,yippeee!
